Geometry Dash 2.209 is the thirtieth update to RobTop's rhythm platformer, released simultaneously on Steam, iOS and Android and announced across RobTop's official channels with a launch trailer that has drawn millions of views. The headline additions solve some of the game's longest-standing community requests: Platformer Saving brings checkpoint saving to platformer-mode levels, Custom Keybinds finally allows native key rebinding without third-party mods, and Death Tracking with visible Death Markers shows players exactly where in a level they keep dying.

The update reaches further than its headline features. Group Chats arrive for the game's social layer, the editor gains sounds and packs plus level import and export, a News tab is built into the menus, the Options menu and navigation get a cleanup, the UI gets a general pass, Cyrillic alphabet support and emoji in comments land, and socials are grouped in the menus.
